The Business Administrator runs the day-to-day operations of the Township. All Department Heads in the Township report to the Business Administrator, who in turn reports to the Mayor.

The Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for the township buildings and property surrounding them.

The Chief Financial Officer's Office is responsible for the oversight and collection of Township funds.

This facility is located at 320 Hollowbrook Drive. The Ewing Community Center offers many recreational and educational programs for Ewing Township residents of all ages. The Ewing Community Center offers day care facilities, Senior Center, Mercer County Library and nutrition branches. This facility is available for rentals for Ewing organizations and residents. In the summer there is also a pool program for all residents.

The First Aid and Rescue Squad has both volunteer and paid members. This vital organization does more than just respond to 911 calls.

The grants officer is in charge of applying for and maintaining the records of most grants obtained through state and federal agencies. The majority of these grants are in the field of housing and community development and redevelopment.

The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Township of Ewing. He oversees the operation of the administration and is responsible for the implementation and execution of the many programs that the Township offers to residents.

The Township Clerk's Office is the office that issues licenses and certificates, maintains Council Meeting minutes, and certifies local elections.

The Office on Aging is located at 320 Hollowbrook Avenue, Ewing, NJ. In addition to running many programs for Senior Citizens at the Center, it is also the coordination point for the Senior Transportation and other programs.

The Township Division of Parks is responsible for the maintenance of Ewing's parks. Call to apply for a permit to hold an event in one of the parks.

The Ewing Police Department is an innovative agency that is dedicated to ensuring a safe and well-protected Township. The Department features a well-equipped Detective Bureau, a Juvenile/Youth Services Bureau, a Domestic Violence Unit, a Traffic Safety Bureau, and an officer assigned to Senior Citizen Crime Prevention, Community Policing Unit. The Department of Public Works is overseen by a Certified Public Works Manager and encompasses the Sanitation, Road, Recreation Maintenance, Central Maintenance and Buildings & Grounds Divisions.

Recreation Programming Ted Forst x7704

Ewing's Division of Recreation is one of the best in the state. Several thousand children and adults actively participate in its recreation programs. Programs begin with the pre-school and continue through all age groups, including Senior Citizen recreation programs.

The registrar is located in the Health Office in the Municipal Building. This is the office that assists with our residents' needs for marriage licenses, death certificates and burial permits.

The Division of Roads is responsible for street cleaning, snow removal, and road repairs.

This Division is responsible for the trash removal operations within the Township. Trash removal is done twice-a-week, the schedule varies depending on your neighborhood.

Tax Assessor Jeff Burd x7610

The Tax Assessor is the place to call if you have a question about the tax assessment on your property. It is also the Office to apply for property tax deductions and exemptions.
There is an exemption for 100% disabled veterans who received the disability due to a war time injury. There is also a Veteran's deduction which is $50 per year. Senior Citizens over 65 years of age with an income of less than $10,000 not including Social Security Benefits are eligible for a $250 deduction per year.

The Office of the Tax Collector is where sewer and property tax bills are paid. You should direct all billing inquiries to this department.

The Township Council is the legislative body of your local government. It is responsible for approving the Township budget and maintaining the Township's local ordinances.

The Zoning Officer is responsible for responding to questions concerning the Township's Zoning Ordinances. He is also responsible for conducting zoning inspections and making recommendations to the Township's Zoning Board.
